Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and file patient medical records accurately and efficiently, both physical and electronic.
  • Scan, index, and manage digital medical documents, ensuring proper classification and accessibility.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist clinical staff with record requests, inquiries, and information retrieval.
  • Perform data entry and update patient demographic and clinical information within hospital systems.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy medical records department and filing systems.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding record management and data integrity.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
