Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Bartender to join our evening roster at The Federal Hotel Lismore. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using a POS system.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Adhere to all responsible service of alcohol (RSA) regulations.
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment.
- Handle minor complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
Required Skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of common cocktails, beers, and wines.
- Cash handling experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of bartending experience in a similar venue.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems specific to hospitality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
