Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mobile Car Groomer to join our dynamic team in Morwell and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role requiring a valid driver’s license and a passion for making vehicles sparkle. As a Mobile Car Groomer, you will be responsible for travelling to client locations, performing a range of car detailing services, and ensuring a high standard of finish. If you enjoy working independently, have an eye for detail, and love seeing the transformation of a clean car, we encourage you to apply. A company vehicle will be provided for work use, along with all necessary equipment and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client locations within Morwell and the Latrobe Valley region to perform mobile car grooming services.
- Execute comprehensive interior and exterior vehicle detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents and detailing techniques for various vehicle surfaces.
- Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Manage and maintain detailing equipment and supplies, ensuring they are always in excellent working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines for vehicle care and product usage.
- Accurately complete service records and daily logs.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (minimum P2, full license preferred)
- Clean driving record and reliable driving habits
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting, and prolonged standing
- Basic knowledge of car cleaning products and techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in car detailing, car washing, or a related automotive service role
- Knowledge of different vehicle types and specific detailing requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
