Job Description
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a real difference in your community? SureCare is seeking dedicated Community Care Assistants to join our growing team in Sale and the surrounding areas. This vital role involves providing essential personal care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and comfortably. We offer flexible hours to fit around your lifestyle, excellent training, and travel expenses paid. No previous experience is necessary as full, comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with medication reminders and administration (following training).
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
- Help with light domestic duties such as tidying and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Ensure client safety and report any concerns or changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Travel between client homes in the local area.
Required Skills
- A genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (due to travel between clients).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care setting (though full training is provided for new carers).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- First Aid certification.
