Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Morning Prep Hand to join our Mildura store. This part-time role is perfect for early risers who enjoy a hands-on approach to food preparation and maintaining high standards of hygiene. You will be responsible for preparing various food items, ensuring fresh produce is ready for display, and assisting with general kitchen duties. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to the right candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh food items according to store standards and recipes.
- Wash, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitised.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of fresh produce.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
- Support other team members as needed during busy periods.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
