Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telehealth Public Health Advisor to join our team for a critical remote government contract. This role is pivotal in supporting public health initiatives through the strategic implementation and optimization of telehealth services. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance, conduct research, analyze data, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of telehealth programs. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada while contributing to impactful public health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory services on telehealth strategies, policies, and best practices within a public health context.
- Analyze current telehealth programs, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.
- Conduct research on emerging telehealth technologies and trends to inform program development.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, healthcare providers, and technology teams to ensure alignment of telehealth initiatives with public health goals.
- Develop and deliver training materials and presentations on telehealth topics for various audiences.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of telehealth interventions, reporting on key performance indicators.
- Assist in the development of proposals, reports, and other documentation related to public health telehealth projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant privacy, security, and healthcare regulations in all telehealth activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of telehealth technologies and their application in public health settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working on government contracts or within a public sector environment.
- Familiarity with Canadian healthcare systems and public health regulations.
