Job Description
Leeds Art Gallery is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Museum Exhibit Installation Assistant. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to careful handling. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and precise installation and de-installation of artworks and exhibition components.
- Learn and adhere to best practices for handling various types of art and museum objects, ensuring their preservation.
- Prepare gallery spaces, including cleaning, minor repairs, and painting, under supervision.
- Safely pack and unpack artworks for transport and storage.
- Collaborate effectively with the curatorial, conservation, and technical teams.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and learn new techniques quickly.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

- Full UK driving license (desirable, not essential).
