Job Description
StarTrack is seeking dedicated and reliable Night Shift Drivers to join our team on a part-time roster in Blacktown, NSW. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of parcels and freight during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for night-time parcel and freight deliveries.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Adhere to scheduled delivery routes and timelines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with sorting and staging of parcels as required.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Physical ability to lift and move parcels (up to 25kg)
- Good time management skills and reliability
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in courier, freight, or logistics driving roles
- Knowledge of the Blacktown and Greater Western Sydney area
- Experience operating light rigid (LR) vehicles or higher (desirable but not essential)
- Forklift license (LF) desirable
