Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Nightclub Floor Sweeper to join our early morning cleanup crew. This essential role is critical to ensuring our venue is pristine and ready for the next day’s operations immediately following our late-night events. If you are a morning person with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive sweeping and mopping of all venue floors, including performance areas, bars, and common spaces.
- Empty and sanitize all waste receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of trash and recycling.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly, restocking supplies as needed.
- Spot clean spills, sticky areas, and other debris to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored, and functional.
- Adhere strictly to all safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management.
- Work efficiently and independently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including sweeping, mopping, lifting up to 25 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or hospitality roles (even informal).
- Familiarity with various cleaning tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation and hygiene practices.
