Job Description

ANZ Bank is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Online Data Specialist to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical data across various online platforms and systems. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Australia, collaborating with teams primarily based in our Victorian operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining our data quality standards, supporting analytical initiatives, and contributing to reliable reporting, all while working from the comfort of your home office. Full training on our specific systems and tools will be provided, but a foundational understanding of data handling is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular data entry, validation, and cleansing activities to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies across multiple online databases and systems.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Generate routine data reports and assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Document data processes, definitions, and quality control procedures.
  • Participate in testing new system features and updates related to data management.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 12 months) in data entry, data management, or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using online databases and data management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in a data-related field, business administration, or IT.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or other large enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles.
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries for data extraction.
