Job Description
Are you passionate about the great outdoors and love camping, hiking, or other adventure sports? Decathlon UK is looking for an enthusiastic Outdoor & Camping Gear Outfitter to join our team in Tower Hamlets. This role is perfect for someone with a genuine interest in outdoor activities who enjoys connecting with customers and sharing their knowledge. You’ll be instrumental in guiding our customers through our extensive range of outdoor and camping products, ensuring they find exactly what they need for their next adventure. Full training on products and sales techniques will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in retail and the outdoor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their outdoor and camping needs and provide expert advice on suitable products.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing outdoor gear section, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and outdoor industry trends.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures as required.
