Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paid Wellness Intern to join our Corporate Health team in Salisbury. This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of corporate wellness. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellness initiatives designed to improve employee well-being across various client organizations. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about health and eager to learn, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and development of new corporate wellness programs and initiatives.
- Support the coordination and promotion of health awareness campaigns and events.
- Help prepare engaging wellness content, presentations, and communication materials.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Health team, including scheduling and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of wellness activities.
- Learn and apply best practices in corporate health promotion and employee engagement.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in health, wellness, or corporate well-being.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Human Resources, or a related field.
