Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Parcel Sorters for night shifts at our Rockingham distribution center. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate sorting of parcels, contributing to the timely delivery of goods across our network. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort parcels by destination according to established procedures
- Load and unload freight safely and accurately
- Operate scanning equipment to track parcel movements
- Inspect parcels for damage and report any discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational flow during shifts
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently night shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg repeatedly
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic communication skills to follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Experience with manual handling and parcel sorting equipment
- Current forklift license (LF endorsement)
