Audacy Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Podcast Production Assistant to join our growing team in Gastonia, NC. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in audio editing. Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply fundamental audio editing techniques using industry-standard software (training provided).
- Assist producers with various stages of podcast production, including pre-production, recording, and post-production.
- Organize and manage audio files, ensuring proper naming conventions and archiving.
- Transcribe audio content as needed to support production efforts.
- Conduct basic research for podcast topics and guests.
- Provide administrative support to the production team, including scheduling and coordination.
- Monitor audio quality for clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Eagerness and ability to learn new software and technical skills quickly.
- Basic computer proficiency (Google Suite, email, file management).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
