Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podcast Production Intern with a keen interest in audio engineering to join our remote team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about podcasts and eager to learn the intricacies of audio production from the ground up. As a remote intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting various stages of podcast creation, from recording and editing to sound design and final mixing. This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to exciting projects from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with remote audio recording setup and troubleshooting for podcast guests and hosts.
- Perform basic audio editing, including noise reduction, vocal cleanup, and timing adjustments.
- Organize and manage audio files and project assets.
- Support senior producers and engineers in sound design and mixing tasks.
- Learn and apply best practices for audio quality and broadcast standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for podcast segments and soundscapes.
- Assist with transcription and show notes preparation.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for podcasts and audio storytelling.
- Basic understanding of audio recording principles (e.g., microphone types, gain staging).
- Familiarity with any audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, GarageBand, Reaper, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition).
- Strong attention to detail and a good ear for sound.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote duties.

- No prior professional experience in podcast production is required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
