Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Sales Director / VP of Sales to lead our sales division and drive significant revenue growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in B2B sales, market expansion, and team leadership within the industrial technology sector. You will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy, expanding our market reach, and fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
  • Identify and penetrate new market segments and develop strong client relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing major deals.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and sales tactics.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate performance metrics and strategic adjustments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive business strategies.
  • Represent Derwent Dynamics Ltd. at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand presence.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP level).
  • Demonstrable success in driving substantial revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the industrial technology or advanced engineering sector.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of sales methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, including P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience with international market development and global sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with advanced engineering solutions, IoT, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Professional certifications in sales management or leadership.
