Job Description
Jani-King is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Pressure Washing Assistant to join our mobile team in Launceston, Tasmania. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to work outdoors and learn a valuable trade. As a Pressure Washing Assistant, you will work alongside experienced technicians to clean various commercial and residential properties, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for entry-level candidates ready to commit to a physically active and rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with all aspects of pressure washing and exterior cleaning tasks.
- Safely set up and break down pressure washing equipment, hoses, and tools.
- Operate pressure washing machinery to clean surfaces such as concrete, brick, siding, and driveways.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to Jani-King's quality standards.
- Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and workplace procedures.
- Travel to various client sites across the Launceston region and surrounding areas.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation to the company depot or designated meeting points.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 25kg).
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in outdoor labor, landscaping, construction, or general cleaning services.
- Familiarity with basic power tools or machinery.
- Current OH&S White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid certification.
