Job Description
Are you looking to start a fulfilling career in social work but lack the formal experience? Integris Health is excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals to join our team as a Trainee Social Worker Assistant. This government-funded training program is designed for passionate and empathetic individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to community welfare. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. You will work alongside experienced social workers, gaining invaluable practical experience in a supportive and professional environment, assisting individuals and families in need within the Edmond community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to social workers and case managers.
- Assist with client intake processes, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals under supervision.
- Help organize and coordinate community resources and support services for clients.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the development and implementation of client care plans as directed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Conduct follow-up calls to clients to ensure continuity of care and support.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong desire to help others and make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications
