Job Description
Are you looking to kick-start a technical career in printing? Officeworks is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Printing Assistant to join our team in Launceston. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of digital printing and finishing equipment.
- Learn and apply best practices for print quality, colour management, and production efficiency.
- Prepare print jobs according to customer specifications and deadlines.
- Assist customers with print service inquiries, order placement, and collection.
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service role (retail or similar).
