Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Producer to join our growing production team in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing the creative and logistical aspects of television or digital content projects from conception through to delivery. You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, ensuring the highest quality output that aligns with our brand vision and objectives. This role requires a blend of creative flair, strong organizational skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production teams, including casting, crew selection, and talent coordination.
- Oversee all stages of production, from development and pre-production to principal photography and post-production.
- Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Create and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with creative teams, writers, directors, and external stakeholders to realize artistic visions.
- Ensure all productions comply with relevant legal, safety, and ethical guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the production lifecycle.
- Manage talent relations and external vendor relationships.
- Report on production progress, budget status, and creative direction to senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Producer in television, film, or digital content.
- Strong understanding of all stages of the production pipeline.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to manage complex budgets and schedules.
- Proficiency in project management software and production tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A portfolio of successful projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working with international production teams.
- Knowledge of broadcast standards and regulations in the UK.
- Experience in script development and storyboarding.
- Familiarity with various camera formats and editing software.
