Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our growing team in Hagerstown, MD. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is open to international candidates requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and includes a comprehensive relocation package to support your move to the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and close-out.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders.
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and dispute resolution.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in construction project management, specifically in commercial or institutional sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Experience with LEED certified projects.
- Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
