Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Public Health Educator Trainee to join our vibrant Community Outreach team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about public health and community engagement, offering comprehensive training and development. You will play a vital role in supporting our outreach efforts, learning to deliver crucial health information and resources to diverse populations within Cheltenham and surrounding areas. Full training will be provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in public health education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of community health education programs and events.
- Learn to deliver health presentations and workshops to various community groups.
- Distribute educational materials and resources on relevant public health topics.
- Engage with community members to assess health needs and provide basic information.
- Support the coordination of outreach activities, including scheduling and logistics.
- Collect and record data related to program participation and feedback.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new educational strategies and materials.
