Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recycling Project Intern to join our team in Oxford. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in environmental education and project management within a leading global non-profit organization. You will support our initiatives aimed at promoting recycling, reducing waste, and fostering environmental awareness within local communities. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference and eager to learn about sustainable practices and community engagement in a supportive environment. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and delivery of environmental education workshops and materials.
- Support the coordination of local recycling drives and community clean-up events.
- Help maintain project documentation, including participant lists and activity reports.
- Conduct basic research on sustainable waste management practices and recycling initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to promote project activities through various communication channels.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvement and outreach.
- Engage with community members and volunteers to foster participation in environmental programs.
