Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Escalation Specialist to join our dedicated customer service team. This is a crucial role focused on resolving complex customer issues that require in-depth investigation and advanced problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for handling high-priority escalations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining our reputation for excellent service. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex customer escalations via phone, email, and chat.
- Conduct thorough investigations into service issues, billing discrepancies, and technical faults.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Identify trends in customer escalations and provide feedback to improve processes and products.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices for handling difficult situations.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service or technical support role, ideally with escalation experience.
- Proven ability to resolve complex problems efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening and de-escalation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and general office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of empathy and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
