Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople and construction managers with various tasks on site.
- Perform general site clean-up and organization, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision after proper training.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and perform other manual labour duties as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies diligently.
- Support the team in preparing and setting up work areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and environments.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G Driver's License.
- Completion of basic safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) – training can be provided.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology (not required, but a plus).
