This role requires strong communication skills, an analytical mind, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undergo thorough training to develop expertise in Freedom of Information (FOI) legislation and internal policies.
  • Assist in the efficient processing and coordination of FOI requests from initial receipt through to completion.
  • Liaise with various internal departments to gather necessary information and responses.
  • Ensure all requests are handled in compliance with statutory deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all FOI requests and correspondence.
  • Support the team in preparing and reviewing responses to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of FOI processes and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities related to information governance and data protection.

Required Skills

  • No prior experience in Freedom of Information or related fields is necessary; full training will be provided.
