In this pivotal role, you will empower job seekers to land their dream jobs by crafting compelling, tailored resumes and cover letters. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to make a real impact on individuals’ careers from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with clients to understand their career goals, experience, and achievements.
- Strategize and develop impactful, keyword-optimized resumes that highlight client strengths and align with target roles.
- Write persuasive and customized cover letters that effectively communicate a client's value proposition.
- Tailor existing resumes and cover letters to specific job applications.
- Proofread and edit all documents meticulously for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.
- Stay updated on industry trends, ATS best practices, and effective job search strategies.
- Maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction in all deliverables.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of resume and cover letter best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client consultations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in professional writing, editing, or career services.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and keyword optimization.
- Certification in resume writing (e.g., CPRW) is a plus.
