Job Description
Harcourt Assessment is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals for a seasonal, remote position as a Standardized Test Scorer. This work-from-home opportunity, based in Bathurst, NSW, Australia, allows you to contribute to meaningful educational assessment while enjoying flexibility. As a Test Scorer, you will evaluate written responses to standardized tests using established scoring rubrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This is a 100% remote position, requiring a quiet home office environment and reliable internet access. Full training on scoring protocols and content will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately score standardized test responses according to provided rubrics and guidelines.
- Maintain scoring accuracy and inter-rater reliability throughout the scoring period.
- Participate in required training and calibration sessions to ensure consistent application of scoring standards.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and project schedules.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all test materials.
- Communicate effectively with scoring supervisors regarding any scoring discrepancies or issues.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills.
