Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team in Wollongong. This stable, full-time position is ideal for a professional with a passion for data and its application in optimizing complex logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, forecast demands, and recommend strategic improvements across our supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to supply chain operations (e.g., inventory levels, transportation costs, delivery times, supplier performance).

- Identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with logistics managers, operations teams, and IT to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in forecasting demand, planning inventory, and optimizing route efficiencies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in data analysis, preferably within supply chain or logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling).
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
