Job Description

Valdosta Community Care Network is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Residential Care Worker for the Night Shift. No prior experience is required, as we provide full, paid training to ensure you are confident and competent in your role. This is a vital position where you will provide essential support and care to our residents during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and peace of mind. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents as needed during night hours, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Monitor residents' health status, documenting any changes and reporting concerns to the Charge Nurse or supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
- Document observations, care provided, and any incidents during the shift.
- Engage with residents in a respectful and supportive manner, promoting their well-being.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
