Job Description
Programmed Facility Management is seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join our team in Mildura. This essential role ensures a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, teachers, and staff, contributing directly to a positive learning atmosphere. We offer consistent Monday to Friday hours during school times, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance. Full training will be provided, so prior professional cleaning experience is not essential – we value a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of school grounds immediately surrounding buildings.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Required Skills
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or school cleaning.
- Knowledge of WHS (Work Health and Safety) practices.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one upon employment.
