Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Self-Storage Facility Relief Manager to cover weekend shifts at our Fulham location. This ‘easy retail role’ involves providing excellent customer service, driving sales of storage units and retail merchandise, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. You will be a key point of contact for customers, assisting them with their storage needs and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them in selecting the appropriate storage units and related retail products.
  • Process rental agreements, payments, and manage customer accounts with accuracy.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct daily facility checks to ensure cleanliness, security, and proper maintenance standards are met.
  • Open and close the facility safely and securely, following company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with the main store team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a customer service or retail role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with point-of-sale systems.
  • A proactive, reliable, and responsible approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Consistent availability to work weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sales-focused retail environment.
  • Experience within a facility management or similar operational role.
  • A full UK driving license for potential local errands.
