Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who is passionate about search engine optimization, possesses a deep understanding of algorithm changes, and can craft and execute winning SEO strategies. You will be instrumental in driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and enhancing the online visibility for our clients across various industries. As a key member of our agency, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end SEO strategy, implementation, and reporting, ensuring our clients achieve their digital marketing objectives. This is an on-site position within our Tamworth office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple clients, encompassing technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page strategies, and local SEO.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Perform detailed SEO audits, identify issues, and provide actionable recommendations for website improvements.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Manage client communication regarding SEO strategies, progress, and results.
- Contribute to new business pitches and proposals as an SEO expert.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in an SEO role, preferably within an agency environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with local SEO and Google My Business optimization.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Certifications in Google Analytics or other relevant SEO platforms.
- Experience with international SEO strategies.
