Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for an exciting part-time opportunity in a buzzing atmosphere? Australian Venue Co. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Glass Collectors to join our dynamic team in Fitzroy. This is a fantastic entry-level role perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced social setting and enjoy contributing to a great customer experience. No prior experience is required; we’ll provide all the training you need to succeed. If you’re keen to work nights, meet new people, and be part of a vibrant pub/club scene, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect and clear empty glasses from tables and bar areas.
- Transport collected glassware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
- Assist bar staff with re-stocking clean glasses behind the bar as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including tables and floors.
- Report any spills or hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support a positive and friendly atmosphere for patrons and colleagues.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role (not essential, but a bonus).
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate (can be obtained after hire).
