Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shed Building Assistant to join our production team in Chesterfield. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing or construction, with full training provided. Your primary role will involve assisting skilled builders by carrying and positioning shed panels, preparing materials, and using simple hand tools to help assemble our range of outdoor structures. Key Responsibilities
- Safely carry and move shed panels and other building materials around the workshop
- Assist skilled builders with the assembly of various shed components
- Utilize simple hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, and measuring tapes under supervision
- Prepare materials by performing basic cuts or pre-assembly tasks as instructed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are put away correctly
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines diligently
- Support the wider production team as needed to meet manufacturing targets
