Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Shop Assistant in Kingston upon Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in retail, as full training will be provided. You will play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly, providing excellent service to our customers, and maintaining a welcoming and tidy shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
- Replenish stock on shelves, ensuring products are well-presented and rotated.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor, fitting rooms, and storage areas.
- Assist with deliveries and stockroom organisation.
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Support the management team with various operational tasks as needed.
