Job Description

O’Brien Glass is seeking a motivated and eager Signage Installer Assistant to join our growing commercial team based out of Bunbury, WA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead signage installers with the preparation and installation of various types of signage, including vinyl graphics, dimensional letters, lightboxes, and large format prints.
- Safely handle, transport, and organize materials and tools required for installations.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Prepare installation sites by cleaning surfaces and ensuring proper measurements.
- Perform site clean-up and waste disposal after installations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Travel extensively throughout Western Australia as required by project schedules, often involving overnight stays.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (essential for travel)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or EWP (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience with basic hand and power tools.
- Previous experience in a physical, outdoor, or trade-related role.
- First Aid certification.
