Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career in the electrical trades? Southern Coast Electrical Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sparkie’s Helper to join our dynamic team in Victor Harbor. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with no prior experience in construction or electrical work, but with a strong willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and a commitment to safety. You will work alongside experienced electricians, providing essential support on various construction and service projects, learning practical skills and gaining valuable industry insight every day. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare work sites, including setting up tools and equipment.
- Handle and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform basic tasks such as digging trenches, drilling holes, and pulling cables under supervision.
- Learn and apply fundamental electrical principles and practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
