Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team within the Department of Education in Townsville. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both digital and physical.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of databases.
  • Provide general office support, including ordering supplies and managing office equipment.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and government regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
