Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team in Blacktown. This role is crucial for optimising our logistics operations by providing actionable insights derived from complex supply chain data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and a passion for turning data into strategic business advantages. You will work closely with operations, planning, and IT teams to identify trends, forecast demands, and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to inventory, transportation, warehousing, and demand forecasting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in supply chain data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis for supply chain issues and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain optimisation models and tools.
- Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, concise insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytical activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
