Job Description
Toll Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Packers to join our afternoon shift team in Tamworth. This casual role offers a competitive casual loading rate and provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and essential logistics operation. You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals looking to gain experience in the warehousing sector or seeking flexible afternoon hours. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, including labeling and palletizing.
- Conduct quality checks on items to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 15kg and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role (desirable but not essential).
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) is advantageous but not required for this packing role.
- Understanding of basic warehousing operations.
