Job Description
iFIT Health & Fitness is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Intern to join our Corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Reporting team. This internship offers an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the critical field of corporate sustainability, specifically focusing on data collection, analysis, and reporting for our annual ESG disclosures. You will play a supporting role in various sustainability initiatives, helping to track progress against our goals and communicate our impact to stakeholders. This is an excellent chance for a student passionate about sustainability to contribute to a leading global fitness company’s commitment to a healthier planet and society.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, organization, and validation of ESG data from various internal departments and external sources.
- Support the preparation of corporate sustainability reports and disclosures, adhering to frameworks such as SASB, GRI, and TCFD.
- Conduct research on emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Help analyze environmental performance metrics, including energy consumption, water usage, and waste generation.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes for efficient ESG data management.
- Prepare presentations and summaries of sustainability performance for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings related to sustainability projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior coursework or projects related to ESG reporting, corporate sustainability, or environmental management.
- Familiarity with major ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations and their impact on business operations.
