Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telehealth Public Health Advisor to join our team, supporting critical government contracts. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. As a Telehealth Public Health Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and strategic insights to federal and state public health agencies on the development, implementation, and evaluation of telehealth programs. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to improve public health outcomes, enhance access to care, and address health disparities. This role requires a strong understanding of public health principles, telehealth modalities, data analysis, and government contracting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert public health advisory services to government clients, focusing on telehealth integration and strategy.
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and inform policy recommendations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive telehealth strategies and operational plans for various public health initiatives.
- Assess the efficacy and impact of telehealth interventions on patient outcomes and public health metrics.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and technology partners.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and policy briefs for senior leadership and client review.
- Ensure all telehealth programs and recommendations comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
- Monitor emerging trends in public health and telehealth technology to provide innovative solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and consultations on telehealth best practices and program development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Epidemiology, or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in public health, healthcare consulting, or government contracting.
- Demonstrated expertise in telehealth technologies, platforms, and their application in public health settings.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., R, SAS, Tableau, Excel) for public health research and reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, exhibiting high levels of self-motivation and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Health Informatics, or a related advanced degree.
- Prior experience working directly with federal or state government health agencies.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract compliance.
- Certifications related to project management (e.g., PMP) or health informatics.
- Experience with health equity initiatives and addressing social determinants of health through telehealth.
