Job Description
Are you looking for immediate outdoor work in a hands-on role? Speedy Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Fence Erectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and is ready to start tomorrow! We are looking for individuals committed to safety and teamwork, helping us deliver essential temporary fencing solutions for a variety of projects across the Plymouth area. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload temporary fencing panels and associated equipment from company vehicles.
- Transport fencing materials to designated installation sites.
- Accurately measure and set out fencing lines according to site plans or supervisor instructions.
- Erect temporary fencing systems efficiently and securely, ensuring stability and compliance with safety standards.
- Dismantle temporary fencing systems upon project completion.
- Inspect equipment for damage or wear, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment on site and in the yard.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic communication skills.
- Commitment to working safely in an outdoor environment.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
