Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and take pride in a spotless environment? Discount Tire is looking for a dedicated Showroom Polisher to ensure our tire displays and showroom areas are always pristine. This is an entry-level, on-site position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience by maintaining a clean and inviting store. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in a supportive retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and polish all tire and wheel displays within the showroom.
- Dust and wipe down shelves, counters, and other showroom surfaces regularly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of showroom floors, including sweeping and mopping.
- Ensure all promotional materials and product information are neatly arranged and easily accessible.
- Assist with basic organization and tidiness of the showroom.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use cleaning products responsibly.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, cleaning, or customer service environment is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance of the showroom.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
