Job Description

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Tomato Pickers in our state-of-the-art greenhouse facility in Glenorchy. This ongoing, full-time position involves the careful harvesting of ripe tomatoes, ensuring quality standards are met for our premium produce. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stable employment in the agricultural sector, even without prior experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully pick and harvest ripe tomatoes by hand, following specific quality and ripeness guidelines.
  • Handle produce with care to prevent bruising or damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the greenhouse.
  • Monitor plants for any signs of pests, diseases, or growth issues and report to supervisors.
  • Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Work efficiently and collaboratively to meet daily picking targets.
  • Assist with other general greenhouse duties as required.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
