Job Description

Orkin is seeking a motivated and independent Trainee Pest Control Officer to join our team in St. George, UT. We offer comprehensive, paid training and will cover the costs of your licensing, setting you up for success in a vital service industry. Key Responsibilities
- Complete all required paid training modules and obtain necessary state licensing (company-paid).
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues, entry points, and contributing factors.
- Develop and implement customized pest management plans under supervision, applying appropriate treatments safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including pest findings, treatments applied, and customer communication.
- Manage a flexible route, scheduling appointments and optimizing daily travel to serve customers efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional conduct, clear communication, and exceptional service.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
- Operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Experience working independently or managing a route.
