Greenview Arboriculture is seeking an enthusiastic and physically fit Tree Lopper Assistant to join our dynamic team in Laverton. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, isn’t afraid of physical labor, and is eager to learn the ropes of arboriculture. You’ll receive comprehensive training from experienced professionals, working alongside them to perform various tree care tasks, ensuring safe and efficient operations while contributing to the beauty and safety of our local environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified arborists and tree loppers with ground-level tasks during tree removal and pruning operations.
- Operate ground-based equipment under supervision, such as wood chippers and chainsaws (after appropriate training).
- Clear branches, brush, and debris from work sites, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Perform general site preparation and clean-up duties, including raking, stacking, and loading.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials from vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
