Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming Triple Zero (000) emergency calls promptly and professionally.
  • Gather accurate and critical information from callers in high-stress situations.
  • Triage emergencies effectively to determine the appropriate level of response.
  • Provide clear and concise pre-arrival instructions to callers (e.g., CPR guidance).
  • Dispatch ambulance resources to emergency scenes using advanced computer-aided dispatch systems.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all calls and dispatches.
  • Liaise with other emergency services (Police, Fire) as required.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to all SAAS policies, procedures, and quality standards.
