Job Description

Beaurepaires Gympie is offering an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Tyre Fitter Trainee. We believe in investing in our people, which is why we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to become a fully qualified Tyre Fitter. This is a fantastic chance to learn a valuable trade from the ground up, working with a supportive team and state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to safely and efficiently remove, fit, balance, and repair tyres for a variety of vehicles.
- Assist experienced Tyre Fitters with daily workshop operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Learn about tyre specifications, safety standards, and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service under supervision.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Participate actively in all training sessions and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Required Skills
- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physical fitness suitable for manual tasks.
- A current Australian driver's license (manual preferred but not essential).
Preferred Qualifications
- A keen interest in cars, mechanics, or the automotive industry.
- Basic understanding of tools or mechanical concepts (beneficial but not required).
- Prior experience in a customer service role (advantageous but not required).
